1. Why use Youbbler?

  1. Our Mission is to cultivate and to share with people of various international communities the essential resources necessary to make their lives more successful. Being immigrants, it was a tough journey for us, and others we met along the way, to get accustomed to different cultures and find our ways around in a foreign land to pave our paths of success. We launched a startup - Youbble and have been dedicating our time and energy in curating a platform for anyone who plans to migrate or travel to other countries, and find helpful resources close to their culture; with an intention to make it easier for people (especially, the next generation of travelers) to explore or settle.

2. Who should use Youbbler?

  1. People who fall under the following categories are most suitable for the purpose Youbbler is built for
    1. You are tired of joining different groups, as and when you move to a new location to find communities and businesses nearby
    2. You are tired of unwanted feed and noise from Social media and focus your time and attention on productive contents
    3. You have a business or talent that is not getting enough exposure and attention from your own native community around.
    4. You want to showcase your projects, ideas, and initiatives to your native community, or other targeted audiences
    5. You want to find people from your native community nearby to network with
    6. You want to increase sales by offering promotions on your products and services
    7. You want to save on Promotions and support your community businesses and Talents
    8. You want to find talents and partners to collaborate on initiatives
    9. You want to find out about or outreach your community talents and businesses abroad, provided we have access to data.

3. How does Youbbler work?

  1. Our algorithms are designed to:
    1. Connect you to your own community nearby wherever you move so that you do not need to join different groups as and when you move. You are always a part of the community you sign up for. User community is defined when you sign up for an account.
    2. Allow users to create their User, Business, and/or Talent profiles; and to add Projects, Promotions, and Media files that are relevant to their Business or Talent. There are no unwanted marketing or individual posts spamming your feed.
    3. Automatically publish your posts to your community of targeted audience, when you add Projects, Promotions, or Media
    4. Allow users to connect with nearby locals from their own community and others.
    5. Allow businesses and talents to offer Promotional deals; and allow users to save money by claiming and redeeming Promotions from their desired vendors.
    6. Easily identifies Talents and Businesses that are willing to collaborate with others on ideas and initiatives.
    7. Allow you to search for business or Talents abroad and connect with them for your needs.

4. Creating an Account and Username

  1. How do I create a You’BBle account?
    1. Download the “Youbbler” app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
    2. Once the app is installed, tap to open it.
    3. Tap Sign Up With Google account (Gmail login) or Facebook account (Facebook login) or Sign in with Apple or Sign Up to create a new account, then enter your profile information. Once you submit, you will be sent a confirmation code to your email; copy the code and enter the code in Youbbler app, then tap Submit.
  2. How do I update You’BBle profile information like my name and community?
    1. Once you have signed up for an account and your email has been verified, you can go to the ‘Me’ option on the bottom left of your app. Tap on the ‘Badge’ on the top left corner by the profile picture, then tap on the three dots on the right, hit‘’Edit’ button to update profile. After you are through with the changes, tap the ‘Update’ button on the bottom of the page. To cancel, simply tap the ‘X’ mark on the top left corner of the page.
  3. What can I do if a You’BBle username is already claimed?
    1. If a username you want is being used by an account that seems inactive, you can choose another username. You can add numbers to help you come up with a username that's not already in use.
  4. What if an account is using my registered trademark as its username?
    1. Trademark violations may involve using a company or business name, logo or other trademark-protected materials in a manner that may mislead or confuse others with regard to its brand or business affiliation.
    2. Using another's trademark in a way that has nothing to do with the product or service for which the trademark was granted is not a violation of You’BBle's trademark policy. Note that Youbbler usernames are provided on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be reserved.
    3. You’BBle encourages submitting a report of the username violating your trademark via our Contact Us page in our app or website.
  5. I received an email that I created a new You’BBle account, but I didn’t sign up for a new account.
    1. Most likely, someone tried to sign up for a You’BBle account using your email address. You’BBle goes through a verification process to ensure data security and user safety. This means, unless the code we send to your email was utilized to verify the account being created, the email would not be treated as an active account. If the code was verified, it means that your email might have been compromised. To remove your email from the account:
      • Contact Us from our website and let us know of the issue using ‘Inquiry’ or ‘Technical Support’.
  6. I can't sign up for an account because an account with my email address already exists.
    1. If you signed up for You’BBle with your email address but you can't remember your password, you can reset your password and log into your account.
  7. You can also choose to tap on ‘forgot password’ using the email address you were notified in. Once you go through the process of claiming your account, you may choose to deactivate the account (unless you choose to keep the account for yourself). Please make sure to change your email password to secure your account.
    1. Keep in mind that you may have used other forms of login, such as Google, Apple, or Facebook for which an email address can only be was associated with your You’BBle account

5. Navigating the App

  1. Log In Screen
    1. The login screen lets you create a new account or log into an existing account. You can also recover your password by tapping on “Forgot password?”
    2. Keep in mind that when logging into an existing account, you must use the email address and password for the account
  2. Profile Update
    1. You can choose to update your profile via our ‘Complete your profile’ wizard that starts after you successfully register your account.
    2. You can also choose to update your personal information by tapping on the ‘Me’ option on the bottom left of your app. Tap on ‘View Profile’, then tap on the pencil image to update profile and tap on ‘Save’ option on the top right corner of the page.
  3. Adding/ Updating/ Deleting your Business from/to your profile
    1. You can choose to add your business to your profile via our ‘Complete your profile’ wizard that starts after you successfully register your account.
    2. You can also choose to add or update your business information by tapping on the ‘Me’ option on the bottom left of your app. Tap on ‘View Profile’, then tap on + symbol under Business Profile; or swipe left if you have already added your business and tap on ‘Edit’ option; then ‘Save’ on the top right corner of the Business form page after the update is complete
    3. You can choose to delete your Business listing from your account by tapping on the ‘Me’ option on the bottom left of your app. Tap on ‘View Profile’, then tap on + symbol under Business Profile; or swipe left if you have already added your business and tap on ‘Delete’ option
    Please be advised, deleting your Business will not technically delete the Business listing, but unlink the business listing from your Profile. Once our team investigates, we will determine whether to delete the business from our database.
  4. Adding/ Updating/ Deleting a Service to/ from your profile
    1. If you are an entrepreneur, professional, hobbyist, or group of individuals and would like to add a non-registered business as a service you provide, you can add the non-registered business to your profile via our ‘Complete your profile’ wizard that starts after you successfully register your account.
    2. You can also choose to add or update your Services offered information by tapping on the ‘Me’ option on the bottom left of your app. Tap on ‘View Profile’, then tap on + symbol under Services offered; or swipe left if you have already added a service and tap on ‘Edit’ option; then ‘Save’ on the top right corner of the Service form page after update is complete.
    3. You can choose to delete your Service listing from your account by tapping on the ‘Me’ option on the bottom left of your app. Tap on ‘View Profile’, swipe left if you have already added your service and tap on ‘Delete’ option.
  5. Camera
    1. Camera lets you take photos and videos from within the Youbbler app, and share them in Feed later
  6. Location
    1. Location lets you share your location so that it is easy for us to give you a better user experience by showing information that is relevant and nearby your location.
  7. Search & Explore
    1. On Search you can find nearby businesses or services from your community or those that cater to your community. You can also search for other users that you know from all over the globe; or other users from your community that are nearby.
  8. Adding/ Deleting to/ From Bucket
    1. Youbbler app allows you to add Businesses, Services, or Users in your bucket. These are the list of businesses, services, and users you are interested in. Adding to bucket allows us to refine and show the users, businesses, or services that provide specific services when you are in need of one and are searching for it in our database.
    2. You can add Businesses, Services, and Users to your bucket by tapping on the {bucket} symbol when you visit the user or business profiles.
  9. Community
    1. You’BBle encourages people from specific nationalities, roots, culture, and language to connect with each other in a foreign land. Currently, Youbbler separates the communities based on Nationality. We will be introducing more granularity in future to ensure there is more lineage to determine the subcommunities you best fit in.
      • The community you enter when registering our app is where you choose what community you would like to be a part of in the country you are currently in
      • The communities you enter when filling out a business form for listing your business are the target communities you would like to primarily target through your business. This will help us concentrate your primary audience that should have visibility on your brand
  10. Hot Buttons
    1. You’BBle wants to make it easy for users to view the hottest searched categories and options around their location through means of one tap feature (well, 2 taps if you haven’t turned on the location)

6. General Questions

  1. What is a username?
    1. You’BBle allows you to go incognito, which allows you to hide your identity from public when there are certain posts you may want to create that you may not be comfortable sharing; if otherwise. Please be advised that we will need to have some traceability to your profile to ensure the safety and security against any contents that are inappropriate for the users.
  2. Why do we need a date of birth?
    1. To Celebrate YOU
      • At You’BBle, we would like to know our user base and build relationships. Therefore, we owe you at least a toast to celebrate and may offer random lucky users with freebies on their birthdays.
    2. To ensure you are of a legal age to use our app
      • Our app caters to individuals above the age of 13. Therefore, if you are under the age per restrictions, you should not be using this platform.
    3. Targeted contents
      • Our app allows you to surf through contents relevant of your age. Date of birth helps us to make sure you are not getting inappropriate contents for your age group.
    Please be advised, we do not display date of birth to others viewing your profile.
  3. Why do we need Country, State, and City?
    1. You’BBle is a directory for contents that best suits your needs. Selecting location helps us filter for data that is related to the community where you reside.
    Please be advised, deleting your Business will not technically delete the Business listing, but unlink the business listing from your Profile. Once our team investigates, we will determine whether to delete the business from our database.
  4. What do we need your Occupation?
    1. You’BBle is a directory for contents that best suits your needs. Selecting Occupation helps us filter for data that is related to the profession. It also allows you to get more visibility and encourage you to offer your skills for additional revenue to your income.
  5. What is an EIN?
    1. The Employer Identification Number, also known as the Federal Employer Identification Number, or the Federal Tax Identification Number, is a unique nine-digit number assigned by the Internal Revenue Service to business entities operating in the United States for the purposes of identification
    2. Why do we need an EIN?
      • We use EIN to determine if you are a registered business or an informal brand. This allows us to police for registered and non registered businesses to make sure there is accountability channels set up for legal, safety, and security of the users.
  6. What is the difference between business and service?
    1. At You’BBle, we found it much more convenient to redefine the terms ‘Registered Businesses’ as ‘Businesses’, and the term ‘Unregistered Businesses’ as ‘Services’ for our internal communication. We would like to see if users adapt to our language.
    2. Main important thing is that we give businesses preference in the search result listings compared to service provider listing, just because we think these business owners are more determined and have more stake to risk than service providers.
  7. What is a business address?
    1. Our theory is that if you have a registered business, you should have an address you used for registration. This could be your mailing address for us to reach out to in case of any business opportunities or issues.
  8. What is a business email?
    1. Majority of people like to keep their business conversations separate from personal inbox. Where would you like to receive the contents of your business interests and investment opportunities?
  9. What is a service areas?
    1. Our theory is that if you don’t have a registered business, you are probably providing services outside of our house or at client sites. We use your profile address to determine the States you provide service to. You can add up to 3 neighboring States you are willing to travel for business.
  10. What is a service email?
    1. Majority of people like to keep their business conversations separate from personal inbox. Where would you like to receive the contents of your business interests and investment opportunities? Some people may have multiple businesses; where would you want those communications sent?
